DESCRIPTION:Event highlightsMore than 30 immunization programme managers fr
om the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis\, representing both nationa
l and subnational levels\, participated in a 4-day training workshop aimed
at strengthening analytical skills and data use for decision-making in im
munization. The training focused on data triangulation to identify inequiti
es in immunization coverage and critical thinking on data interpretation a
nd use as a key approach in informing targeted action. Participants receiv
ed guidance on the use of WHO tools and methodologies\, including the WHO/
Europe guide for addressing immunization inequities\, surveillance and vac
cination coverage data analysis\, and practical approaches to data triangu
lation for equity-focused immunization programme strengthening.Interactive
hands-on sessions complemented the presentations\, enabling participants
to apply concepts to data and enhance their capacity to make data-driven a
 ction plans in their daily work.According to a post-training survey\, 97%
of participants expressed satisfaction with the workshop. All respondents
found the content relevant to their work\, and after the training\, 69% re
 ported feeling very confident &ndash\; and 31% somewhat confident &ndash\;
about applying data triangulation techniques in their roles. Participants
also highlighted the practical relevance of the training and its usefulne
ss in improving programme performance.Strengthening data use for actionThi
s training is part of WHO/Europe&rsquo\;s ongoing support to Member States
under the European Immunization Agenda 2030\, which emphasizes data-enabl
ed decision-making\, tailored local strategies and accountability in immun
ization systems. By building the capacity of national health authorities a
nd the immunization workforce\, WHO/Europe aims to support countries in id
entifying and addressing inequities\, developing evidence-based action pla
ns and monitoring progress to ensure equitable access to immunization serv
ices for all.Event noticeDespite achieving high immunization coverage in T
ajikistan\, challenges persist in addressing inequities and preventing dis
ease outbreaks. This training is designed to enhance the analytical skills
and critical thinking capacity of immunization managers and surveillance
officers to identify inequity in immunization and develop data-driven plan
s of action to strengthen the national immunization programme. The overall
aim of the training is to build the capacity of national and subnational s
taff in using multiple data sources to identify programmatic gaps and deve
lop tailored subnational action plans to address immunity gaps and acceler
ate control and elimination of vaccine-preventable diseases.Targeted at im
munization managers from the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis and s
urveillance officers from the Sanitary Epidemiological Service\, this trai
ning will cover both national and subnational levels. In line with WHO guid
ance on addressing inequities in immunization and achieving measles and ru
bella elimination\, the training will include presentations\, interactive
sessions and practical exercises covering the following key areas:standard
analysis of immunization coverage data and vaccine-preventable disease su
rveillance datatriangulation of multiple data sources to support immunizat
ion planning and evaluationincorporating vaccine demand-related data in ro

offered to participants\, providing an opportunity to address individual d
